Unlike other professional development services providers, Editure Professional Development provides customized, job-embedded, research-based professional development. Editure works side-by-side with administrators, coaches, and educators to provide professional learning across the school community to realize instructional, curriculum, and often, systemic changes. Our work is designed to improve the effectiveness of teaching by improving instructional practices through the gradual release of responsibility model.
Editure provides ongoing support through a team of experienced consultants from around the globe. An Editure consultant:
- plans with administrators;
- works collaboratively with teams of teachers;
- ensures data is used to drive and differentiate instruction;
- models the most effective teaching strategies in classrooms; and
- helps schools review, reflect and revise their plans to ensure gains,
all with the goal of seeing teachers succeed as their students achieve!
Consultancy can be provided one-on-one, in small groups or with teams and typically ranges from 10-100+ days. In-school and on-site consultancy is always customized to meet school or district-based goals such as: whole school improvement, data-driven instruction/assessment for learning, digital age teaching and learning, raising literacy or math proficiencies and much more.
